they did a good job adapting a rts to a console. building armies, attacking enemy bases, fun!

So.......my question is, does it compare to Starcraft?

i never played starcraft so i wouldnt know

heres how building bases works, you get a area to start with at the start of the mission, you start by building a base which gives you four other pads to put stuff on and those things you can put on are, nuclear reactor which raises your tech level and you can upgrade it to dual reactors in one pad, theres a barrack where you train your basic marines, marines equipped with flamethrowers, if there isnt sufficient supplies to continue to fortify your base, then you can use one of those pad to create a supply factory thing, and you can also upgrade that so produces twice as much, theres a tech center you can build which enables you to get special upgrades for the marines weapons, theres an air combat pad, armored vehicle pad, etc. the base i said earlier you get at first can be upgraded to a station which has 6 usable pads, then you can upgrade to a fortress which has 8 pads, and adds four usable( if you want to use them) machine gun turrets at the four corners of the base. long post lol
